• Assist Executive Housekeeper to efficiently manager the housekeeping department to ensure that facilities and public areas are well maintained at all time and stress on personal attention with prompt and personalized service to all guests. • Responsible for the operation of the Housekeeping Department • Ensure that all departmental goals can be met at all times. • Assist in set-up and implementation of the department’s operation procedures and performance standards. • Train, supervise, evaluate and discipline Housekeeping staff. • Assist with budgeting for the department. • Prepare daily work for staff and follow up on the completion of tasks. • Supervise laundry service • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning schedules for respective items. • Prepare monthly departmental report including: completed and outstanding Tenant request/ requirements, and preventative maintenance. Summary & breakdown of monthly departmental costs • Effective inventory control and associated budgeting duties. • Satisfy tenant requirements quickly, efficiently and courteously. • Create and maintain schedule to provide good service to meet tenant’s demand. • Reasonably cooperate with and assist all staff in all problems with may occur
• Supervise Room Attendants • Organises and facilitates the room making process. • Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members. • Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor. • Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs. • Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards. • To organise immediately the guest needs under intimation to EHK/Executive. • Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members • Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards. • Aware of all room categories and amenities. • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner • Carry out lost and found procedures. • Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department. • Assist Housekeeping Manager with training requirements. • Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel. • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation. • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Clean and maintain the public area according to standards and procedures • Follows the I-Clean process. • Ensure clean public areas and clean meeting rooms will require customers to be met in time • Report damage or incidents in the shift area to the supervisor. • Maintain equipment and machinery in a clean condition. • Maintain daily chemical reports for monitoring. • Meets with superior and takes on daily assigned tasks. • Report abnormal behavior / activity in the area with supervision. • Complies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy. • Adheres to personal grooming and hygiene standards. • Attends meetings and training sessions as required. • Clarifies own job responsibilities and looks for opportunities that will increase skills and job knowledge • Provides information when requested and promotes hotel’s services, facilities and special events. • Complies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy. • Adheres to personal grooming and hygiene standards. • Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
