Key Responsibilities and Skills in: Product specialist - Inbound Sales Strategy Division Marketing Department (Dec 2016- Oct 2017) • Research and collect background information on potential customers and competitors in assigned territory (Phan Thiet city, Nha Trang city, Cam Ranh city, Phu Quoc island), provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. • Researching and identifying new hotels/restaurants suppliers. Update to relevant departments. • Understanding the local hotel competition • Maintaining strong relationships with current clients. • Gathering information from every angle and analyzing it multifaceted. • Understanding what market segment feed business into the hotel, where it is coming from and how that business is getting to the hotel. • Communicating with suppliers to collected info and negotiating with hotel and other suppliers for special fair and for commitment bookings from guests. • Prepare and conduct the training for internal/external sales and agents. • Building win-win relationship with suppliers and handling customer care services as well. • Making and delivering training for Sales and relevant departments to increase product and destination knowledge • Assisting for daily Sales request, question/inquiry from Japan headquarter and other departments. • Assist and working closely with Image Gallery Executive to • update/maintain Media and product galleries. • Update weekly newsletter for Marketing/ All necessary department and other reports by collecting information from the other departments/ local suppliers/GMs with specific deadlines. • Liaising with relevant department to solve any problems related to Product/ Modules rates. • Working closely with marketing team to update new hotel information for regular newsletters. • Willing support and assist other Product Specialist Exe when they needed. Reservation Agent - Reservation department (Nov 2014 - Nov 2016) • Book transportation make hotel or restaurant reservation and collect payment / fees using reservation software to meet customer desires. • Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout. • Understands the hotel s policy on guaranteed reservations and no -shows. • Process advance deposits on reservations. • Open and close the availability as and when required of hotels in all channels and on hotel online website. • Update reservations ensuring a flawless check -in and check - out process. • Ensure revenue is maximized by up - selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities. • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds. • Customer service/ communication skills Talk, listen and help resolve conflicts with customers. An expert communication helps me to listen effectively to find the root the issue and keep the customer happy. • Dealing with confused or irate customers • Liaise with Sales and other departments as required. • Answer telephone and verify customer information and payment options, assign rooms and respond to customers with confirmation emails or letters. • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
