During the time I studied at school, I got more any knowledge from my teacher and got experience with casual position when I was a student. it's make me confident in communicate with guests, with colleague and I can apply any my experience I have on the job, and to engage & inspire for my colleague and staff
Holiday Inn is the first brand in VN (IHG). My role is a ABQM. Period pre-opening, I supported BQM to do training slide for staff base on brand standard of hotel. By side that, base on technical drawing of BQ space, I work out quantity of tables for each function room. I also a champion for HACCP in the hotel.
At here, the luxury Hotel located at Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province, the hotel just focus about Wedding and Convention so need a lot of Casual from leader, and plan to rent CL for each Wedding or Event. Assist BQM to create SOP for staff and CL, standard Set up for meeting and wedding, understand culture at Biên Hòa. Arrange Roster for Staff, do payroll for them....
To assist Banquet Mgrm in setting department and goals to achieve operation target, and oversee any Banquet operation when BQM absent. To train for staff and new CL to follow SOP of Accor, inventory every months. Read BEO and event forecast to order all equipment to BQ operation. Do payroll for staff and CL by Cadena. Plan rent CL for each event
To plan, prepare, and execute banquet activities to ensure that guests have a favorable event experience. Observe and check any set up before guest arrive include food and beverage, revenue, equipment on the room. Coordinate with kitchen team to get details of the menu and service standards
As my position, I have experience for pre-opening, and experience how to prepare equipment for a event or wedding, have to plan for it. Working with BQ's team and Banquet Mgrm to create SOP for Department. To learn from colleague to arrange layout for each style set up, and connect with kitchen team to know about food
I were a Casual Labor at Banquet, at here I can get any set up, to learn about SOP from Sherwood, and knowledge about service frequency and provide standard service to guest experience.
